2、good reliability and validity. The study also aimed at testing the differences on levels, characteristics and influential factors of the college students’ mental health. In addition, the paper explored the relationship
3、between the college students’ view of mental health and mental conditions as well as and the characteristics of personality. The results indicated: 1). There were no distinguished differences on the gross score of the Sc
4、ale of the College Students’ Viewpoint of Psychological Health and the factors of psychological health standard. However, there were obvious differences or sex, college and major on the retainment of mental health. The f
5、actors of mental health influences showed fairly distinguished differences on colleges and majors while the cognitive levels of mental problems only had differences on grades. 2). The fantasticalness and testability amon
6、g the sixteen personality characteristics showed no obvious differences on genders, colleges, majors and grades while gregariousness, stableness, excitation and permanence have more differences on genders, grades and maj
7、ors. In addition, independence shows the most differences. 3). The methods to keep mental health showed fairly distinguished differences on the following four factors: gregariousness, excitation, psychological inquiry an
8、d guidance and application on entering higher school and obtaining employment. The cognitive levels of mental problems manifested certain differences on gregariousness, excitation, permanence, independence, introversion
9、and extroversion, cowardice and neatness and creativity. The mental health standards showed extremely distinguished differences on the three factors of application on entering higher school and obtaining employment. The
10、factors influencing psychological health showed a certain differences on doubtfulness, nervousness, adaptability and anxiousness. The gross scores of the scale of mental health also showed some differences on the followi
11、ng four items: gregariousness, stableness, excitation, permanence, anxiety, cowardice and neatness, psychological inquiry and guidance and application on entering higher school and obtaining employment. Key words: view
