1、隨著我國(guó)科技創(chuàng)新及中西科技交流的發(fā)展，專利文獻(xiàn)翻譯越來(lái)越引起人們的重視，特別是過(guò)去很少見(jiàn)的漢英翻譯的社會(huì)需求量呈明顯上升趨勢(shì)。專利說(shuō)明書（簡(jiǎn)稱專利）的漢英翻譯在中國(guó)翻譯工作中占有較大比重，并逐漸成為翻譯行業(yè)的一個(gè)新興類別。然而，長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)，人們對(duì)專利文獻(xiàn)的研究多集中于英漢翻譯，目前對(duì)于專利漢英翻譯的研究不多。
本文基于專利漢英翻譯實(shí)踐，歸納專利的文體特點(diǎn)，在蒙娜·貝克的語(yǔ)言學(xué)翻譯研究的指導(dǎo)下，以一種自下而上的方式（從詞匯、語(yǔ)法，
